Welcome to my little corner of the web. As I often say, "free is good." So nothing like having a free website to have my own little diatribes and ramblings about life. I am a free lance writer, book reviewer and crafter.
A little about moi, I am a rather unique woman, my interests and tastes vary. I enjoy meeting new people and I am by no means shy about getting out there and doing what needs to be done for my family. I am a divorced mom of two active young ladies, Shelby 14, who is an artist. Sydne 11, who is a blossoming chef. Both of my girls are a priority in my life. I am a firm believer that education, a quality education is the basis of a life rich in mind and spirit.
I am also very active in the size acceptance movement here in Michigan. "Sexy is an attitude not a size." That being said, being overweight in this country is the last "accepted" prejudice in society today. "...It's ok to make fun of people who are overweight." like hell it is. Just because someone is not a size 10, does not mean they have no feelings. It's time to let "society" know that you can be fat and fabulous. Perhaps, if said society were to eat something they wouldn't be so angry at us big folks, oh well I digress.
I am a member of several organizations that promote activities and events for people of size. These organizations encourage larger women and men to get out and enjoy life just as we are. I am also active with NAAFA. Another organization that encourages you to like and love every inch of your being. Also a very new and unique organization called Ampleocity-http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AMPLEOCITY has recently started. Ampleocity is more than a social group, it encourages networking in and beyond the bbw/bhm community.

I love books that have vampires, shapeshifters, magick and of course action. As I often say I like my books with bite and spice. I often put up reviews of the books I am reading either here, or on myspace or amazon. If you have a book that you want reviewed get in contact with me gypsywoman35@yahoo.com.
I just finished reading, Skin Trade by Laurell Hamilton and Bad Moon Rising by Sherrilyn Kenyon. Great action, a few good books to get lost in.
